Nu Chapter Gifts 09

The season for the Michigan Marching Band is quickly coming to a close. One of the best parts of the season is recepting with our brothers from other chapters after the football games. During these receptions, we have the chance to exchange chapter gifts. Here are ours from the '09 football season.

These are the three gifts we received from brother chapters
(Left to right) Eta Psi, Zeta Epsilon, and Delta Upsilon

Here are the front and back of the paddle from Eta Psi

"S" (Spartans) "M" (Michigan) "B" (Band)"
The colors of the "B" show we are all unified in band :-)

The brothers from Delta Upsilon signed one of their (new, haha) marching band shoes.

Thanks for the love this year, and we look forward to seeing everyone at degrees and district events!

New(ish) Nu Football Jerseys

So, we all know that Nu loves football. Speaking of football, flag football has finally started again! Yes! (We'll be blogging about that soon enough. Can't wait to get some pictures from the games!) Anywho,  we figured it was time to update our old look and get some jerseys which definitely have already come into awesome use. Here's a pic:

(models from left to right: David Hines, Jr., Brennan Crispin, Malinda Matney)

Don't they look awesome? The back has the name and number just in case you were wondering.

P.S.
They are also really comfortable :-)

Introducing...

the new blog for the Nu chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity! We are so excited to be putting this together and all of the interesting events and details from our chapter that will be included. The beginning of the marching band season for the 2009 school year has been nothing but exciting. So far we have completed all our band week activities, some of which include our Ice Cream Social, Uniform Handout, Labor Day Picnic and Freshman Move In/Dorm Walk. Nu is pretty tired from band week and our first game, but classes start tomorrow and our first Business Meeting is next Monday! Hoorah!
